It provides comprehensive quiz banks, practice testing engines, interactive clinical slide workspaces, and video lectures to aid in medical training and curriculum preparation.

Information We Collect
To provide you with our educational platform and sync your progress, we collect the following types of information when you use the Stagiaire app:
- Account Information: When you register and create an account, we collect your full name, email address, university name, and academic stage/year.
- Learning Progress & Activity Data: We store your learning activity, including quizzes attempted, answers provided, test scores, progress states, favorites, bookmarks, and any customized clinical notes you save on slides.
- Media Uploads (Optional): If you use in-app features to upload audio explanations or photos for question items, these files are securely stored in our cloud backend associated with your account.
Location Services
Stagiaire does NOT track, collect, or use your physical location.
The application has no location-based features. While some underlying standard iOS system frameworks (such as image picker libraries) may contain native location symbols to process camera metadata on your device locally, our application does not request, track, or store any of your location coordinates or geographical data.
In-App Purchases
Stagiaire is an educational tool provided for medical student training. The app does NOT contain any in-app purchases, microtransactions, or hidden fees. Access to the educational materials is managed strictly through your student credentials.
Data Sharing and Selling
We do NOT sell user data under any circumstances.
Stagiaire values your privacy. We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal information, email addresses, or academic progress data to third parties for advertising or commercial purposes. All data collected is strictly used to power the app's internal functions, keep your progress synced across devices, and enhance your learning experience.
How We Use Your Information
We utilize the gathered data to:
- Create and manage your student account.
- Synchronize and track your learning progress and quiz scores across multiple devices.
- Allow you to bookmark slides, save custom notes, and review your history.
- Maintain app performance, troubleshoot bugs, and improve overall features.
Data Security
We implement a variety of security measures, including modern encryption, secure database queries, and token-based authentication (via Supabase), to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your account is password-protected, and all data transmissions are encrypted using standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL/TLS) technology.
Children's Privacy
Stagiaire is designed for medical students and individuals undergoing professional higher education. It is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
